My services come from a place of kindness. We are human and make mistakes. Mistakes can be helpful to learning and growth. So is self awareness and accountability. Shame is NOT helpful and we will find ways to decrease it and increase comfort with discomfort , facilitating conversations that lead to meaningful change.
Child Therapy
Family support is one of my specialties as a social worker. I have always had a passion for connecting with families, and fostering positive relationships among family members with humor, curiosity, empathy but also accountability.

Kids do not come with instruction manuals. They are figuring out how to be them as you figure out how to be a parent. It can get really challenging at times- for everyone.
Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. A Reiki session is between 60 and 90 minutes in duration. The session is performed by a Reiki Practitioner (RP or RMT) using specific hand positions. In a session, the client is fully clothed while comfortably reclining on a massage table or seated in a chair.

Although I was skeptical about the benefits of Reiki, I sought out Mariana to give it a try. I suffer from joint pain due to arthritis and was looking for relief beyond what traditional medication can provide. Mariana offered a soothing and relaxing environment and the heat and touch of her hands was instantly beneficial. A few hours after the treatment, my joints seem to be more flexible and less inflamed. Coincidence? I think not. I will definitely be seeing Mariana again as I highly recommend her Reiki practice!
